A monster, A monkey & A strawberry.
Talk about a no stress Halloween (kind of)...I pulled up the Old Navy website, they picked their costumes & costumes were shipped to my house. (well this actually was the 2nd attempt at costumes, by August I already had our family's themed Halloween Costumes...and when a plan in the theme didn't go as planned, then that through me for a loop and that's why we ended up with these costumes.) We originally were French Fries, Hot Dog, Hamburger, Chef and Bun in the Oven. But when the bun in the oven wasn't in the oven anymore, then I figured I best switch up the theme, so I listed costumes on ebay and I ended up actually making a little more money on the original costumes I bought....so it didn't end up being to bad of a deal! I have some pictures of the kids in the other costumes that I need to try to find, cuz they sure looked cute! But anyways, so I realized how simple Halloween can be when you don't do a theme. But you think I will remember that next year....PROBABLY NOT.Oh ya, I forgot about all my Halloween costume changes until I just came across this picture. My hubby is sure great to put up with me and my costumes. But I seriously love Halloween. I don't know if I even liked it this much as a kid, but I love it now.So this night, Brian & I were Mr.& Mrs. Potato Head.
I love that my kids came home and sorted their candy, like my siblings & I did when we were little. It was so cute to see them do this! This was after the Trunk or Treat on Saturday. They each got 3 pieces and then I told them the story about the Great Pumpkin coming. So they left it out on the porch and surprisingly never asked once about where their candy was!
