Fourth Of July

We just got back from California on July 3rd because Brian had to be back to work on the 4th. I seem to be spending a lot of the holidays celebrating without him, so it's a good thing I have my family close by to help feel the void of missing him! Britt had a party at her new house so my parents came up and lil Toddy Woddy. (Even tho he is 16 that will always be his name.) Anyways, we just ate lots of food and the kids loved playing in the backyard. I think there was like 22 kids there and you wouldn't have known because all us parents got to just talk and enjoy the peace and quiet. Britts new house is nice because it has a basement and a big backyard so they are entertained all day out there. 

 I had to catch my kids one by one for a picture with me, the days are far and few in between when I can get them all at the same time to sit still for a picture.

Seriously I have created a MONSTER with
sweets & treats! He loves everything and anything that is sweet.
And it's my fault because I am always eating it, and I cave & give in.:)

 We went to Green Valley Park and it was perfect. The weather was awesome and the firework show was great. If only we knew that an hour away there was such a great firework show with nice weather we would have been doing this long ago. I always hated dealing with traffic and the heat down in the valley on the 4th.
