A few of MY favorite things...

Brynnly 21 Months Old...
Height: (short) Weight: 23 lbs
I love EVERY stage that we have gone through of Brynnly getting older. I remember when she was a newborn, I just loved that stage of cuddling with her and then you just keep saying, "Oh, this is my favorite stage!" But then the next month I would find myself saying the same thing. I guess just being a MOM keeps getting better and better each day. Right now at 21 months she loves to make messes, I am always amazed that the damage she can do without me realizing it, when I am just a few feet away from her... the other night she got into the flour while Brian and I were right their in the kitchen with her and neither of us noticed. She likes to make messes, but is also very good about helping me clean them up as we sing the "clean up song." Yesterday I was making her Mac and Cheese as she was out playing in the back yard and when I went to get her she had mud all over her, so she sat outside and ate her lunch before i cleaned her up. I think she probably got a little mud in their from her feet, but oh well. She also loves to read books to Bryce. I can't always understand what she is saying but she is always telling him some kind of story as she flips the pages. It is moments like this that I truly treasure!

A few of my favorite things about Brynnly are:

-she loves to do makeup with me, so when I am getting ready both my kids are right there on the countertop getting ready with me

- when we are eating she knows to fold her arms and usually says "ahmen" about 5 words into the prayer, she doesn't do too well during the long prayers in church sometimes so she will just keep on folding her arms and saying ahmen over and over again.

-when she gives you a hug, she always pats your back

-if she can't figure out how to work something or open something, she says,"bwoken mommy" I seriously hear this phrase like 50 times a day, and everytime she says it I still think it is the cutest thing.

-she loves going to nursery and singing songs...her favorite is "itsy bitsy spider" with the actions

-she can do the sounds of most animals, and has actions to go along with some of the noises... her little impersonation of a monkey is the cutest

-she is a determined little girl, she will climb on everything and over anything to get to what she wants.

-she is STILL obsessed with dogs... if we are inside and she hears a dog bark outside, she stands by the door saying "DOGGY, DOGGY" until I let her go out and see it... someday, I will give in and get her one...but not quite yet!

-everynight after prayers she gives us hugs and kisses and says, "I love you Mommy Daddy!" she started saying this about a month ago and still everytime that she says it, it just melts my heart.

-she loves wearing her "pretty pretty princess" shoes... she has them in different colors and loves clog around the wood floors in them, especially when Bryce is sleeping... she also loves making me wear the shoes with her... my feet somehow fit in those little things

-when waking up from a nap, for the most part she is always grouchy for the first few seconds... but it usually doesn't take long to get her in a good mood.

-she still is the MESSIEST eater ever... but there is nothing that I can do to change that... because of her stubborn little personality she has to do everything herself.

I could go on and on about Brynnly and all the things that I love about her, but I will keep it short and try to be better about this every once in a while so I can remember the simple little things that they do to bring joy into my life!

Bryce 4 Months Old...

Height: 25" Weight: 15lbs. 8 oz.

A few of my favorite things about Bryce are:

- loves to cuddle with his mommy, if he falls asleep on my arm, I am stuck that way for a while otherwise the second I try to move away he will wake up

- he loves to hear himself talk, he is always making some kind of noise

- his hands are always in his mouth, he can't decide which finger he likes best!

- he is sensitive, if he hears a loud noise or someone yells (like his daddy always does when he is holding him in his arms and watching a game and gets a little too excited) it always scares him and he gets the saddest little face, with his chin frowning...it's so cute!

- loves to laugh over and over again at the same thing, he really is such a happy baby

- he likes to sit in the sink while I get ready, doesn't look to comfy to me, but he doesn't complain
- he loves sleeping on his stomach, even though all doctors are against it... it is the only way that he will stay asleep for a while

- he still is waking up in the middle of the night to nurse... he goes to bed around 9:30 and sleeps till 4:30 and then is up about every hour after that... he just wakes up for a little snack and goes right to sleep...

Bryce had to get his 4 month old shots and it makes me so sad to hear him cry, because he rarely does. He has such a low loud cry... it sounds like he is going to have a deep voice by his cry.



And this last picture is just PRICELESS... the three LOVES of my life! Brynnly and Bryce love story time with their daddy. After working long hours all day I love that he still has energy to play with his children, it means the world too me.
