Valentines Day 2011

I have this problem of telling the kids the night before about an event or a holiday and so they always wake up extra early the next day... Valentines morning I woke up to the table set like this by Brynnly & Bryce. It was so cute. Brynnly made little hearts shaped out of pipe cleaners and set table places for everyone.

Then we made some pink pancakes that were not very good...

                                           but with enough syrup anything can taste good!

I was watching Britts kids while she worked and so we had a little Valentines Party and played some Valentine Bingo and did the girls nails and make up.

Before Daddy got home the kids wanted to decorate the house and set a special place setting for him.

                                     And the kids said they had a surprise for me before bed
                                                      and I came out to find them like this...




VALENTINES PARTY with FRIENDS

Heather, Britt & I threw a couples Valentines party and it was seriously so much fun. We played a game like the Newlywed game, but with questions for people who have been married for a while. It was so fun to see how everyone answered the questions. We had 10 couples there and I am so bummed I didn't get a picture of the whole gang. We also had a white elephant gift exchange, where everyone had to bring a gift of something that symbolized LOVE. And of course lots of eating. Whats a party without food!
