We spent the 4th this year in California with Brian's family. I have sworn that never again will I be in Arizona on the 4th of July because it is always way too hot to even go outside and enjoy the fireworks. I guess growing up as a kid it never phased me, but now with kids I just can't do it- I get way too hot. So we had a great time spending it with Brian's family at the Grape Park in Escondido. The weather was perfect and the kids had a fun time running around the whole time.

I always love the patriotic music that they play as the firework show goes off.
