Girls Night Out.
I have said it before, and I will say it again. LOVE the girls in my neighborhood, and as more houses are getting built, the crowd just keeps growing and we keep getting more fun sweet girls moving into our neighborhood. We had a little "going away dinner" in Scottsdale at the Kona Grill last week and we had such a great time. Some girls met up just for dinner and then those who could stayed the night at the JW Marriot out there.
Us 5 went out earlier that day and did some shopping at the HUGE Home Goods out in Scottsdale. And then we partied all night. After dinner grabbed a little yogurt at MOJO's (not a huge fan of it) where they had a secret password apparently and we had some fun with that :) indside joke. And then we cruised down Scottsdale Rd bumpin the music in Heather's sweet ride and just had a fun time laughing and dancing.
We had "girl talk" until 2 in the morning when everyone started to fade away. Right before bed, I said "nobody better have their alarm set because I am SO looking forward to waking up without an alarm or any kids waking me up!" Kind of ironic that I said that, because at 8:30 in the morning we got a rude awakening to the FIRE ALARM in the Hotel going off. It was so loud. But I guess it was a good thing, because it got us up and going for the day. We put on our swimsuits and headed down to breakfast and then had a nice and relaxing day lounging in the tubes in the lazy river and then laying out reading our gossip magazines. We each bought one thinking that we would apparently get a lot of reading in, but I didn't even make it half way through ONE. Guess we like to talk instead.
I had such a great time with these girls. This was the first time that I have ever just left the hubby and kiddos for a night away ALL TO MYSELF....but I kinda missed them, believe it or not. I was just ready to get back home and see those cute little faces.
