Last night was a ROUGH night. Bryce woke up at 1:30am just screaming and yelling as loud as he could, saying, "Mommy!!" just over and over again. I heard him, but for some reason thought that it was a dream. So Brian got up and brought him into our bed. He still was just screaming for me. I held him and tried to comfort him, but he kept saying,"those mean guys are going to get me!" I kept trying to comfort him and say everything was alright because you are with mommy and daddy now, but he was not settling down. I know that Brian had night terrors as a child, so we just assumed that this was what it was. He had to lay right on top of me and if I made any kind of movement he would freak out again. About 3 minutes later he started hiding under the blanket saying that a tiger was getting him. By this time Brynnly had woken up and was snuggling up in bed with us as well. And she told him, "dont worry buddy, tigers are locked up in cages at the zoo." It was so cute to hear her trying to comfort him.
LONG NIGHT short...mean guys, tigers, lions, snakes, bears & a wolf were all out to get Bryce last night. This continued until 3:30am with him yelling for help while one animal at a time was trying to get his legs. He would dose off for a minute and then wake up in horror a few minutes later yelling, "get away from me wolf or whatever the thing was that was scaring him. Brian gave him a blessing during all this chaos and then finally he fell asleep good for the night around 3:30am. It's 8:42am and Bryce is still sleeping, hopefully my sweet little boy will wake up without the fear of being chased by mean guys or wild animals.
