Brynnlys Birthday Day... April 19th

Good Mornin' Sunshine... birthday girls choice of breakfast. Turning 4, so she wanted 4 different kinds of cereal. Easy for me. I thought I would have to make some kind of fancy pancakes or something a little harder.

We headed to Chick Fil A and met up with Britt & her kids and Kiersti and Bretters. Afterwards we went to the mall to play at the toys and the splash pad was on, so it wasn't too long before the kids wanted to get wet. We were a circus in Children's Place buying swimsuits for the kiddos. But is was worth it, because the kids played for a good two hours! They loved it, and we loved just sitting and watching.

And I couldn't keep Chace away from the shooting up water. He loved it. And Brynnly loved dragging him to sit on top of the shooting water- it was so cute. Because he would just sit there on the spots that would shoot water. He probably got a couple enema's, but didn't seem to mind.

Brynnly choose Chilli's again for her birthday dinner this year. She went last year and so I think that was the only reason she wanted to go there. She loves people singing happy birthday to her and she remembered they did last year, so thats why I think she picked the place. Next year I am going to steer her in a new direction and let her know that most places will sing you happy birthday. I don't know where she gets this,"loves to be the center of attention" thing from.
After dinner we came home to find all five of her birthday fish "sleeping." As Brynnly kept trying to convince us that fish just sleep for really long times sometimes and that is just what her fish were doing.

To end her birthday on a not so good point, Daddy had a funeral service and we all watched the fish go off to "fish heaven." Although, nothing seemed to help comfort the little birthday girl. She was seriously so sad about it. I wish I could remember all the cute little things she kept saying through her sobbing tears. I know there was a, "my life is over and will never be the same" phrase she kept repeating. As well as, "how could you do this to me on my birthday?"

Well, I think she had a pretty fun day minus the fish passing on. I sure love this little girl.
