Today we said our "goodbyes" to this guy for the next 2 years while he is serving his mission in Canada...

I don't know what it feels like to have a brother go on a mission, but this guy is pretty close to being a part of our family for the past 5 years and we are SURE going to miss him! It was hard to say our 2 year goodbyes. My kids ADORE him and have called him "Uncle Brett" for as long as they have known him. He is such a great guy and treats Kiersti like a PRINCESS (and believe me, she needs someone to treat her like that!) We love him so much for all that he does and for the great example he is to our little brother. We wish him the best and can't wait to see what the future holds for him and my little sister.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that Kiersti will still be "available" by the time that he gets home because we already consider him as part of the fam. GOOD LUCK BRETT! You will be missed and should look forward to weekly pictures that Brynnly will be coloring for you.
