14 Days of L.O.V.E.

Growing up my mom would always to the 14 Days of Love to each of us kids, beginning on February 1st up until Valentines Day. She would write a little love note or put a little Valentine treat of some kind under our pillow at night and when we woke up in the morning I would always love to see what I got that day. So as I have my own children I find myself passing on many of these traditions that my parents have done with us and it is so fun to see how excited my kids get.

This year we decided to decorate these fun little mailboxes and then each morning I raise the flag so that Brynnly knows that she has "mail." She wakes up every morning and is so excited to see what is in her mailbox. It can be the simpliest little thing and she couldn't be more thrilled! Seeing how into it she gets, makes it all worth it. Bryce is still a little confused by it all, but Brynnly gets excited for him, it is so cute!!

This morning she got this pink little jacket and a Valentines Rubber Stamp kit that she has had a blast playing with this morning.

I think that is such a cute idea! Maybe I will have to steal it for next year seeing that we are a little late if we were to start this year!
