You can't go to Vegas with kids and not have a babysitter, so that's why we decided to bring this guy (Lamar Odom) along with us.

We had a fun time this past weekend in Vegas and thanks to Brynnly it started off with a little greasy start when she decided that her and Bryce needed to be rubbed down from head to toe in Vaseline.

In case you are wondering what gets Vaseline off the body: try dish soap, baking soda and if all else fails then peanut butter. After using all three plus multilpe showers it was finally out of the kids hair & bodies.

We met up with Brian's bestfriend, Jason Crowder and his cute little family. We were good friends while going to school in Rexburg and hadn't seen them since they had their daughter so it was so fun to finally reunite again.

Brian found out the hard way that he had better luck just sticking with the carnival games rather than the card tables. So lucky for the kids that we came home with more stuffed animals than money.

Brian pretty much won any game that he played, so it came down to which stuffed animal Brynnly wanted and then daddy would win it for her.

Brian was determined to win this ever so sweet Lakers ball for Bryce, he is trying to brain wash him at a young age. He had 3 chances to win it & finally on his last one he got it and was pretty excited about it.

We did lots of walking and went through the new cool hotels, we went and saw the Lion Exhibit at MGM and walked to the M&M and Coke stores.

The boys loved to play this jumpin game

Three things I learned in Vegas:
1: Circus Circus is not the cool hotel to stay in anymore (maybe it never was, but when I was a kid I thought that it was)
2: Just because someone has nicely manicured toes that you notice while sitting next to them in the bathroom, does not mean that they are the same sex as you
3: Vegas isn't exactly the best family vacation spot
We decided to get out and stop at the Dam, I never had and people always do so I figured maybe there was something that I was missing out on. Nope. Next time I will be fine with staying in the nice air conditioned car and just looking and pointing as we pass.

Love the Vasoline stunt they pulled. I wonder who's idea it was?

That's funny you just saw Jason and Kelsey because I texted her the other day because we went to the Angels game and I thought for sure they'd be there. Nope. Probably the only game they didn't go to all year!

Anyway, so fun you got to see them!

And next time, stay at like, the Mirage or something. Circus Circus is so 20 years ago.

Tiff - I have been wanting to see your blog forever now, but I haven't been able to for some reason. You were blocking your long lost pen pal! Anyway, your trip looks like a blast! I was laughing so hard at the vaseline pics. Taylor did that once and covered herself, my couch and our dog! I could NOT get rid of it from her hair for like a week! Dang kids!

P.S. Your hair is SO BEAUTIFUL! HOLY COW! Hope youre doing good these days!

Hi Tiff! Cute pics- Talli put bag balm all over herself when she was about Brynnly's age and it wouldn't come off for days. Her hair was one big grease ball so i can relate! Well I can't wait for you guys to meet little Drew.
