Well it is now officially official that we are building a new home, we like to think that the first one was our practice round. We had a fun time picking out everything the first time, so we figure we would cancel and do it one more time! Before we were building out further in Gilbert, and now we are building a little closer to Mesa (by my parents) but still in Gilbert. This is the area that we have always wanted to live in and we just love it because the streets are all lined with green grass and it is a requirement to have GREEN GRASS as your landscape option. Brian and I both just do not like rock in front yards and we have realized this more as we have rented this past year because this house has rock. All that it means too me is more weeds and you can't sit out in the frontyard and play with your kids. So we are really looking forward to having a frontyard that we can sit in.
They began on June 21st and we are so excited to let the building process begin! This is our lot. It is only about 5 miles from where we live now, so we pretty much go there everyday to check it out.
It was actually a little cooler this weekend (meaning 102 instead of 118) so we went and played at the park that is right across the street from our house. That is the main reason we picked the lot that we did. You can see in the second picture, our lot on the corner there. So I am sure that our kids will spend many of hours here and I will be able to just watch them from my own front porch...I can't wait!!
We had such a fun time hanging out as a family, I love the time that we get to spend with Brian. Seriously, why do husbands have to work?!
