Brynnly got invited to her first birthday party and was so excited about it, although she was a little confused about the fact that her friends party that she was going to, was named Breenlee. So all week long I had to keep reminding her that it wasn't her own party. When I got her ready and handed her the present, she kept thinking that it was for her. And then Brylee shows up to pick up Brynnly and hands Brynnly the present that she got for the real birthday girl and so at that point I just knew that this was going to be too confusing for my Brynnly to understand during the whole singing Happy Birthday and present opening that it was not her birthday.
But if you ask Brynnly when her birthday is she will let you know that it is on APRIL 19th, so now I just have to work with her on letting her know that April 19th is not in August.
This party thing was kind of a big deal around here... I can't even imagine what it is going to be like when she starts her first day of school.

I'm laughing so hard out loud right now. you're hilarious tiff- AND I LOVE THAT GIRL!!!!!!!! I wish I could have watched her!! i'm grinning ear to ear just thinking of that cute little personality. ohhhh she's such a hoot. And she really doesn't know that April isn't in August? Shame on you for not teaching. That's a no brainer!
