Kiersti & her "bestfriend" Brett. We loved having Brett on vacation with us because the girls love playing with him and he keeps them entertained.
We always see people around us making creative sand castles and sand sculptures so Brian & I started a castle, but didn't get too far with that. So then the boys decided to stick to what they do best.... DIG HOLES in the sand. This time they dug deep holes and then connected them to make a big tunnel. So thats about as creative as they get with the sand. The tunnel was pretty big though, it was big enough for all the boys to go through it. It was actually a main attraction around the beach and all these little boys were coming over to ask if they could go through it. Then we buried them standing in it when we were ready to go in.
Brynnly has NO FEAR, and I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing at this stage of her life. She grabbed a boogie board and was headed out to the ocean to catch some waves. I always love to test her to see how far out she really would go, and sure enough she would just keep on going and going....until somebody would stop her. She went out boogie boarding with "Poppy" and actually caught a wave and rode it in a little until she fell off. After that we would always ask her if she wanted to go boogie boarding with Poppy and she would say, "No boogie boarding with Poppy." It was so funny.

Our kids definitely love the beach and we look forward to many more family vacations spent there!

Oh man...it's about time!! You guys have been up to so much!! I want to go to California again soooo bad!! We fly in on Sunday for Aubs wedding and are only staying to Wed. but we leave here officially the first week of Oct. So not far away at all...and of course you will get an invite to the shower. I can't wait to meet the little girl. Are there a bunch of houses for rent over where you are living right now? We are trying to find something in that area.

I can't believe Brynnly was out boogie boarding! That is hilarious. I love her cute red polka dot suit- so adorable. Congrats on the house being framed. Can't wait to see it finished.
