Happy 3 Years Honey Bun!!

1. Where did you meet? We met up in Rexburg in a parking lot outside of my apartment, The Ridge. He came up to visit his friend Jason for the summer and my roommate and I were peeking out the window and I saw this "hot" guy and so I was like lets go out there, because they were unloading things from his car. He stayed for a couple weeks visiting Jason, whose sister lived above me in our apt. So Bobbi and I would always stare out the window when we saw them going over there....pathetic, I know....and if I didn't end up marring him, I probably wouldn't be admitting this stuff! And then it just so happened to be that when he came up to go to school in the fall he was randomly roommates with my lil brother, Chad. Talk about my way into this man's arms! jk Like I really cared to go and do my brothers laundry every other day?!

2. What was the first thing you said to him? We had just met, so most likely we said Hello and introduced ourselves.

3. When and where was your first date? September 10, 2004. On our first date we went camping with a bunch of his roommates and some other girls. I made my roommate, Bobs come with me though, or else I said I wouldn't go. Glad I convinced her to go somehow! Brian and I had so much fun just sitting by the campfire and talking. Come night time, somehow Brian and I ended up in the bed of the truck talking and we talked and talked all night...nope, No Kissin' just talkin. We didn't even sleep at all that night, but it was freezing cold so we ended up sharing a sleeping bag. (sorry Mom's , we were cold!) We weren't too prepared...or come to think of it, mabye that was his plan along with just the ONE sleeping bag! (Bobs, thanks for taking one for the team and coming along and sleeping in the pathfinder!) After that night I knew that we had something special though, because I can't just talk with one guy for that long and not be bored!

4. Where was your first kiss? September 11th...yes, the next day. In a parking lot at the Ridge... seriously what's up with us and parking lots?! We went on a date to Millhollow (the best yogurt & sandwhich place in Rexburg) and then back to his apartment to play games with roomies and then when we were walking out to the car he tried pulling a quick one on me and I just laughed and said, "I can't kiss you because you are my brothers roommate and I don't want it too be awkward!" We just laughed and then somehow I gave in... a girl can only be so strong!

5. How long did you date? Well we dated for 5 months before we were engaged, but I kinda took a few weeks off in the meantime to figure out what I really wanted... I had to get out all my playin around before I was ready to settle down forever!! And I was lucky enough that Brian was patient with me and still was willing to take me back after I knew that HE was the ONE for me! At least this way, I knew that it was really him that I was in love with and couldn't imagine life without him.

6. Where did you get engaged? We got engaged in Rexburg, Idaho on February 3, 2005. He was trying to be sneaky about it, but from the second he picked me up I knew that by the end of the night I wasn't coming home without a ring on that finger! It was such a sweet proposal, but I won't get too mushy. I was so excited and couldn't stop grinning for about a week after!

7. When were you married?
May 20, 2005. It was the hottest day in May but a wonderful day! Everyone was troopers to stick around for pictures, I was ready to bail!

8. Where was your honeymoon? Puerto, Vallarta... loved every minute of it and just can't wait till we can go back there with NO kids again.

9. Who eats more sweets? ME forsure... if we make any kind of treat, then he takes a bite and I eat the rest. He says that he would rather have a steak then a cookie.

10. Who eats more? I think when we dated and when I am pregnant we about eat the same. I can pound a whole pizza by myself... maybe thats why I have gained 44 pounds with both pregnacies?!

11. Who said I love you first?
He did when we were driving back to Idaho after a roadtrip to a cabin in Durango, Colorado. I remember my heart started racing and it felt so good hearing him say those words, but I just said, "THANKS!" .... I am not one to just say those words so it took me 3 months later to tell him. I love to joke with him about it, but I didn't want to say it until I forsurely new I was in this for the long haul!!

12. Who is taller? Brian is, but I like to act like when I wear heels that I am just about as tall as him...

13. Who can sing better? Brian has an awesome voice and I love hearing him sing...although he doesn't do it too often, mostly when my family gets him going on the Karooke machine. I forsure can't sing.

14.Who is smarter? Brian... I won't even try to rationalize this one. But hey, I did get a Teaching Degree and graduated from College just 10 days after I had Brynnly.
15. Who does the laundry? I always do the laundry but he will help me if he is home when it's folding time.
16. Who pays the bills? ME, I don't even think that Brian knows what bills we have or how much money is in our accounts.
17. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
Brian does (it’s the side closest to the door)
18. Who cooks dinner? I cook or my sister Brittni (we switch off nights because we live right by eachother) But if we BBQ then that's Brian's job. He loves to BBQ
19. Who drives? Brian ALWAYS does if we are together.
20. Who is more stubborn? I think I have him beat on this one...barely...

Three years and Two kids later...

Hun, thanks for being such a wonderful husband and a great father! We appreciate all that you do and count the minutes until you get home each day. I LOVE YOU and couldn't imagine life without you!
