So I decided that since Brynnly has an extreme love for animals that we would get a year pass to the Zoo... she however, did NOT get this love for animals from her mother! I don't know why, but I just have never really cared for animals. Don't get me wrong, I don't throw rocks and shoot bb's at animals but I just really don't have this desire for them. Wow, that kinda makes me seem a little heartless... I do however have a deep love for my children, so the fact that Brynnly gets a thrill out of animals I do support her with many frequent trips to the Pet Stores and now I am sure that the Zoo will be another added stop to visit often.
We got together with some girlfriends and our kids on Friday for a fun time at the Zoo. This was my first time going to this Zoo since I was in elementary. And I must admit that after living in California and going to The San Diego Zoo as well as the Wild Animal Park, the Phoenix Zoo did not even compare. But Brynnly enjoyed it and I always am up for stroller rides and talking with friends. So all in all, we had a wonderful day at the Zoo.
Brynnly wanted nothing to do with her stroller and thought that she could walk just as fast as the big kids, even with those boots on she was crusing pretty fast. But when I asked Taylin if she would hold Brynnly's hand and walk with her she said, "Well I would, but she is kinda a little too slow." It was so cute. 
When I looked over the pictures that I took from the Zoo, I realized that all that I got were a bunch of booty shots of the kids and even the monkey. I guess next time I need to be in with the animals to get better pictures of the kids. I could have taken more pictures of the animals, but they aren't as cute!
One of the best things that we did was get to pet and feed the sting ray. The kids LOVED it, and apparently Brooke and Shelley did too! I was surprised how big they were. I was afraid that Brynnly would be the first to jump right in with them, but luckily she didn't. 
Brynnly couldn't make up her mind, between Ridge or Brody??!
Oh great, she is already following the boys around. Who knows where she got that from?!

Such a fun time!!! LOVED IT! i'm so glad we got the passes- we'll be thrilled. Brynlee looks like a doll- the girl doesn't stop smiling!! just like her mama!! alright- 30 minutes of blogging...i guess i'll get back to my kids!!

Careful about encouraging your daughters love for animals - or she may turn out like me. My hubby and I even had pet rats for awhile - and I love them. :) With the baby on the way - we have no random pets (rats, bird, fish, turtle) and are turning our attention toward caring for a human. :)

Sweaters and boots. It must have been a frigid 65 degrees there. You have it so rough.
I PRAY that my kids don't like animals. Then I'll have to go to the damn zoo all the time.

Looks like you had the whole relief society and their kids with you @ the zoo :) So fun! I love the zoo. I haven't been for awhile..just one more thing that Kyle and I need to do. We are pathetic!! I swear, if we go out anymore, all we do it go to the movies!
