Christmas Pictures with Santa...

Grandma Russell wanted to get pictures taken of her 4 grandchildren, so yesterday was the big day! You would think that with only 4 grandkids that this wouldn't be too hard to accomplish. Britt and I had planned two outfits for our kids, one was a nice dressy outfit and the other was their Christmas PJ's. We went to Target to get them taken and it was total chaos trying to get all 4 kids to sit still and look at the camera. The little boys were actually really good, I guess it was just between the two girls, one was always trying to get away. Well we realized that our first mistake was planning an outfit change...what were we thinking with 4 kids?! After the Target photo shoot we decided that since they were all dressed that we should go to the mall and get their pictures taken with Santa. That was our second mistake, we probably should have just called it quits after the first photo shoot, but we knew if we didn't go then, then it most likely wouldn't happen. We wait in line for Santa and Brynnly and Brylee are so excited to see Santa, and then of course when it is our turn for pictures with him, they both get so scared and will not even sit by him. So at the last second Britt and I hop in the picture and hold our girls... so this is why we happen to be in the picture with Santa and the grandkids! Grandma took the girls to ride on the carousel, and after one round the girls were not ready to be done, but Grandma was so we had to switch. I do not know how the kids don't get sick on that ride. After a few times around I was about ready to puke! The things that we do for our kids to let them have a fun time!It was a crazy but entertaining day with Grandma and Aunt Kiersti. Kierst got to miss school to come and help out, and by the end of the day she said that she would have rather gone to a full day of school then do that again! So, apparently it was a little too crazy for her!
